Fishing with Stampscapes

Fishing with Stampscapes

Attached is a long and narrow scene using Stampscapes stamps on glossy paper.  I then colored the images using a stylus.  This was a fun scene, I need to expand my horizons.  I will be working on an art journal page for my June goals, stay tuned.....

Stampscapes retreat

I went to a Stampscapes retreat last week and it was so relaxing.  There were so many nice people there, all so willing to help each other.

Above is a scene I created at the retreat using Sutter stamps and also Stampscapes stamps.
I used Copic markers and also colored pencils to color it.

Be prepared, many more to come.
Thanks for stopping by,
Carol

This week our challenge was from Page 43 of Tim Holtz's book.  It is called "Faded Layers" and was fun to do.  I'm sure I will use it again.  This series of challenges has really been fun!

This weekend I made the April '12 tag featured on Tim Holtz' blog.  It was fun to do.  I didn't quite have the supplies needed, so my bird does not have a crown.  But I tried some new techniques and played with colors.  Thanks for looking!

CC2 - Week 2 This week was fun, I got to get messy. I followed the instructions for this project on pg 58 of Tim's Book CC2. I hope you all have the book and are trying lots of the projects. Please follow the blog Studio L3 to get lots of good ideas!

CC2 Week 1

I finished Week 1 of the CC2 Tim Holtz challenge - I think it was almost more of a challenge to figure out how to scan my tag!  I used the Caged Bird die stamped in "Faded Jeans" ink on the Spritz and
Flick background.  It is accented with composer tissue paper and "Enjoy" by K and Co. The directions for this technique are clearly stated in Tim's new book.

1st Zentangle

I've been wanting to try this for some time and finally took the time to do it - after I bought a book and some pens.  This was fun and went together fairly quickly.
